Moura
Corpo, ritmo e terra.
What is Moura?
Moura is a small-capacity electronic music gathering in rural Galicia, organised by the Asociación Terra Moura, a non-profit organisation. It is built with our own means and self-managed, and for three days it brings together Galician, Spanish and international artists in one place.
When and where?
The first edition took place from 3 to 5 September 2025. The second, from 3 to 5 September 2026, at Aldea Couso Galán (Sarreaus, Ourense), in the heart of the A Limia region.
The dates of the next edition will be announced here and on our social media.
Who takes part?
Artists from the Galician, Spanish and international scenes, the members who attend the gathering, a team of collaborators who look after sound, production, photography, activities and the bar, and the people of the village who host us.
Culture and territory
Moura is made in dialogue with the place. We work with local shops, suppliers and professionals and with the Concello de Sarreaus (the local council), and we programme with particular attention to the Galician scene. We want the gathering to leave activity, economic benefit and ties with the people who live there.
Care for the environment
Zero fire
During the gathering lighting any kind of fire is forbidden, and every attendee receives an individual ashtray.
Shared mobility
We offer attendees a car-sharing platform so they reach the village in fuller cars.
Leave no trace
We ask everyone to treat the hills with respect and leave nothing behind but footprints.
Limited capacity
We limit the number of attendees on purpose, so the place and the people who live there are not overwhelmed.
